Vintage Wear For The Office

Dec 11th, 2011 Mathieu Courchesne

Today we're going to learn something interesting about investing in classic clothing for work and how to properly wear them. I'll start by looking at three piece suits. These offer you the best opportunity and entry point into going vintage for work wear. You can actually do remarkable things with a three piece suit.

The best classic style for suit is the tuxedo style; another perfect style for the men is a jacket that can be worn with jeans, and for the ladies with a pencil skirt of any type.

I would like to show you one hear but since there's no space for video just envision jacket worn with beautiful silk blouse beneath. That highlights the details making them easily noticeable. Accessories are Crystal pearl cuff links. French cufflinks and you've got a lovely, lovely, lovely shapes bubble skirts featuring rouged hems. Once more, this is something that you can fully split up and wear as separates.

The dress also features a lovely brocade shell. Rather than wearing shirt entirely, you can wear the skirt with some heels. Head to the office then from work straight to the cocktail bar, and maybe a sweater over it. You can easily take that off and enjoy life.

Corporate Look

If you prefer something little bit business, maybe a court, boardroom, grab that lovely looking jersey in a different shade in another neutral shade, sort of a charcoal gray which would also offset this sort of a lighter charcoal. All together, just a really beautiful, simple, stream-lined piece, that's very modern, very current, looks very much today. With a little flair.

Casual Work Clothes

And then if you want something a little more casual. A little more romantic, you could take this beautiful Chloe formal blouse, circa 70's, and again, pair it with a beautiful skirt and just even go without tights. Maybe some flats. Anything will do with this. It's just something that's timeless and can be paired pretty much with anything. And you can not be afraid of mixing these sorts of patterns and textures together. And, it's actually quite nice and it will stand out.

Youthful Glam

Want a youthful glam, no problem, all you have to do is just remove the skirt, and pair this almost long enough, almost coat length or jacket length tuxedo jacket, with the blouse, without, with a camisole underneath. Add some leggings, a sexy show, and you will be ready to go partying. And to conclude, to put some spark in the whole affair, if you prefer then you can put on the yellow top over the bubble skirt, you can wear it again, a cute vintage blazer together with studs and stones that are very contemporary. You'll be on trend and you will have an ageless nicely tailored piece that stays lovely forever.
